Description
The Blaze 86 builds on what other models are known for: lightness, versatility, and agility. Because there’s no Titanal, the ski is a bit livelier and also a bit lighter. The Blaze 86 is designed for quick, tight turns, although the three different sidecut radii also handle challenging terrain, speed, and long, sweeping turns. The suspended tips and tails give the ski composure, increase floatation, and protect the ski off-piste. The Blaze 86 is a great touring option for backcountry skiers who are happy to accept 100 grams of extra weight in exchange for a much-improved skiing experience. Built around a lightweight, high-performance woodcore from tip to tail, it can handle climbs and makes descending a pleasure (unless the snow is too deep). This highly versatile technological setup gives the Blaze 86 an intuitive feel and an unusual level of creativity.
