Just when you think it can’t get any better, the Völkl R&D team proves you wrong — as they have with the Peregrine V.WERKS.
The premium model, with 84 mm underfoot and a weight of just 1,830 grams (177 cm length without binding), features Völkl’s innovative tailored carbon tips and tails. Never before has it been possible to distribute power so precisely to the most stressed areas while maintaining the ski’s full dynamism and agility. The carbon fibers do not form a uniform layer; instead, they are arranged across the ski body through a stitching process, with their orientation and stiffness tuned to the needs of each specific point. Since a ski’s behavior is largely determined by the properties of its tip and tail, these are the areas with the highest concentration of carbon fibers. The result is remarkably agile, responsive performance on any slope, with minimal effort.
The ski is built using Völkl’s innovative 3D Radius Sidecut technology, which allows the tip and tail rocker design to be optimally matched to the three interconnected radii, ensuring exceptional smoothness and stability at high speeds and in demanding piste conditions.
To further enhance power transmission and shock absorption, the Peregrine V.WERKS is equipped with a 0.7 mm Titanal frame that surrounds the most stressed areas of the tip and tail. This highly complex technical structure creates a completely new combination of liveliness and high‑speed stability.
The IPT Lowride binding system is carefully integrated into the ski body for impressive power transfer.
If you’re looking for a highly versatile, powerful, super‑light, high‑performance all‑mountain ski that delivers smooth rides in all conditions, the Peregrine V.WERKS definitely deserves a place on your shortlist.
